Initially not intended for public display, this effort was born out of humility. Unforeseen complications arose with the materials during production, which did not align with the artist’s intended vision. The result was the genesis of an entirely new technique of depositing precious metals, like gold and silver, in his work. “The Boo-Boo Piece” serves as a personal reminder of imperfection and its importance within one’s own life as well as the world at large. This relatable struggle of trial and error has led to a beautiful compromise between vision, expectation, and reality.
