2021

Recycled EPS, Fiberglass, Resin, Pigment

30” x 30” x 3”

Words from the artist:

I’m a big fan of patterns! I have always been keen on checks and plaids. These two pieces were commissioned via our dear friend Raili CA Design for an awesome family adding to their collection. Aside from featuring patterns, these works are unique for a number of reasons and are being sent to live in the outdoors of Montana’s country.

We set out to create a somewhat fabric feel with these works and I feel that was executed that very well. This medium continues to lend itself to just about anything, and I love slowly evolving with them. The color theory here is intentionally off white, emerald, and various shades of black to relate to the wooded area. I’m again honored to create works for people who appreciate the vision and understand how these works can and do live anywhere. Thank you Raili for the opportunity and allowing me to play!
