LOVE OVER FEAR
August 2021
Recycled EPS, Fiberglass, Resin
36” x 36” x 3”
Words from the artist:
I’ve witnessed some incredible things lately and noted how some of those closest to me are consciously changing/growing for the better. I know I am. Maybe it’s just that point in time when we’re more aware of what we want and what’s important and so much of that is in the approach.
I made this from a discarded piece I destroyed a few times. We are always tweaking/ adjusting the processes in which we execute works and I’ve wanted to made something black on black for sometime, and felt this lent itself well to the exercise. It’s always interesting as well to give new life to something and revisit an argument. Trying to be more mindful of those things in and out of the studios. It starts from the inside out.
