LOOKING BACK AT TOMORROW
2021
Powder, White, Black, Recycled EPS, Resin, Fiberglass, Pigment, Wood
60” x 60” x 3”
Words from the artist:
This piece is en route from southwest coast to live in the southeast coast. It’s still trips me out when talking art and shared experiences with collectors. We began as always, with a discussion and landed on a concept based in extreme nostalgia. We talked at length about things we both are into from vintage cars to fabrics. Honestly, one of the best parts of this path is learning and meeting incredible folks and just chatting. The work reminds me of so many things and just kinda makes ya happy. At least it makes me happy. I’m very proud it exists.
