This assembly of works is destined for a collection in the mountains. Let me tell ya, the white oak continues through the progression in one continuous grain piece which takes some thinking before doing. I’m really interested to see this work up in its final space. I have an idea of how they flow, but it’s always better in the space. I was honored to work with some fantastic folks for this private commission, and the colors are unique for this style of work; especially for me. Whenever a series is called upon, it’s playtime. The arrangements can shift and make it feel instantly different. The segments can be separated and placed throughout to create a semi hide-and-go-seek effect as well. I’m always grateful for collectors willing me to stretch my legs a little!
